Bangor Marina is situated on the south shore of Belfast Lough, close to the Irish Sea cruising routes. The marina has become well known since it opened for providing a safe berth in the centre of Bangor, a highly attractive town with many places to visit.

This is Northern Ireland’s biggest and most prestigious marina and is the setting for a variety of major sailing and tourist events each year.  The Marina is also the base for HM Coastguards Marine Rescue Sub Centre and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s Atlantic 85 Lifeboat ‘Jessie Hillyard’.

Visitors will find hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, banks, post offices, leisure centre and cinema within easy walking distance of the Marina, together with golf courses and tennis courts.

Popular places to visit in Co Down, such as the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and North Down Museum are close by.
