Wexford Garden Trail

Places to See | Co. Wexford, Ireland

As we finished up our 360° tour of Wexford we took the opportunity to stop into some of the beautiful and historic gardens of the Sunny South East.  It’s by no means a comprehensive list and you can find many more gardens to visit by heading over to the website link above.

21 Private and Public Wexford Gardens, Garden Centres and Nurseries have come together to form a Wexford Garden Trail

The Gardens of Wexford reflect the history and diversity of the County and its landscape. Some of the gardens were originally laid out in the 18th and 19th centuries while others were begun just 10 years ago.

The larger public gardens, such as The John F. Kennedy Arboretum and Johnstown Castle provide an ideal outing for all the family, while the smaller private gardens will give you not only an enjoyable and relaxing day,  they will also introduce you to the large range of plants which we can grow in this temperate region.

The Wexford Garden Trail includes specialist nurseries for the more unusual plants and, spread throughout the county, award winning garden centres that will provide for all your garden needs.

The owners of all the garden locations on the trail will be happy to welcome you and to assist you with any information you require to enjoy your stay in County Wexford.
