The Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid features galleries showcasing an impressive collection of fascinating artefacts of both local and national significance, alongside an exciting range of changing exhibitions.
The Museum is a great family attraction in Northern Ireland. In the history gallery the story of the mid-Antrim area and its people is presented in a thoroughly contemporary way.
The displays, including sound narratives for adults and interactive displays for children, are designed to allow the visitor to acquire a greater understanding of the relationship between local and national history. Themes covered include settlement & change, commerce & industry, living off the land and politics & conflict.
This Co Antrim attraction welcomes group visits six days a week throughout the year. We cater for educational visits by school groups, special needs groups and group visits for guided gallery tours or special interest tours

We flew our drone over Downpatrick town and captured a couple of aerial 360° photographs. Look out for the marker points in the aerial virtual tours, some of which will allow you to jump from the sky down into some of the various visitor attractions found in the town.
