Ghostbusters at Crumlin Road Gaol

Places to See | Belfast, Northern Ireland

On the 3rd September the Northern Ireland Environment Agency hosted a one off screening of Ghostbusters ahead of European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) which takes place on the 13th & 14th September.

We captured a quick 360° photo just as the film started.

EHOD is a Europe wide event, held annually to promote interest in historic and modern buildings by the public and gives everyone with an interest the chance to visit these buildings and historic sites and the exciting events which take place within them! This year the 30th anniversary of the Ghostbusters movie was celebrated within Crumlin Road Gaol, a building known for its paranormal activity!

Environment Minister, Mark H Durkan, speaking at the EHOD Weekend preview event said:

Our historic environment is hugely beneficial to our cultural and economic well being, and these are wonderful days out for people of all ages. This year there are over 400 properties and events, including some 100 opening for the first time. Many will have living history and cultural activities helping to bring heritage alive for visitors.

For more 360° photos and virtual tours of the properties that are opening this year, see our European Heritage Open Days Category or follow our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
