Founded in 2005 the aim of this Co. Waterford visitor attraction is to establish an archive of the industrial, social and cultural history of Portlaw.

Portlaw Heritage Centre is located in the old dispensary building on the Square and is of interest to anyone wishing to learn about and research the towns historic industrial and architectural past.

  1. For genealogy reasons, I wonder if there are any records available today, for the Malcolmson employment records and possible the house rental records too circa 1870’s. My great grandfather & his family,lived at 56 William street for at least two years (1874 & 1875). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, …Jim
